This type of material has small anisotropy and low acoustic attenuation coefficient. The frequency range is mostly 25KHz~750KHz. Therefore, it is more appropriate to choose a resonant sensor. Metal materials and other applications often use a resonant narrowband sensor with a center frequency of 150KHz to measure the acoustic emission signals of engineering materials. Narrow-band resonant sensors have high sensitivity and high signal-to-noise ratio, are inexpensive, and have many specifications. For example, if you know the basic characteristics of sound source propagation, want to obtain acoustic emission signals in a certain frequency range for processing, or want to improve system sensitivity, It is better to choose a suitable type of resonant sensor, such as sound source localization. It should be pointed out that the so-called resonant narrowband sensor is not only sensitive to a certain frequency signal, but sensitive to a certain frequency band, and the sensitivity of other frequency bands is low.
