Product Description

Automatic EI-200 Lamination Stacking Machine for Heavy Power Transformer Core Assembly

The EI-200 automatic lamination stacking machine inserts E & I silicon steel laminations into transformer coil bobbins under PLC control, with ±0.02 mm positioning accuracy, ±0.1 mm stacking accuracy and cycle rates up to 250 stacks per minute. It is configured for the 2000-4000 VA band of heavy power transformers, where the cores are large enough that handling and shipping the machine itself becomes part of the engineering problem.

The Part of Buying a Big Machine Nobody Mentions

For a machine at this size, the purchase decision is settled long before the invoice. It is settled by three practical questions: how the unit gets into your plant, how it gets onto your floor, and what happens in the first week when a part is missing. Buyers who plan only the price and the cycle time discover the rest at the worst moment.

Question 1: How Does It Reach Your Plant?

The EI-200 ships in a reinforced export plywood crate with the feed system and touch screen braced separately, moisture barrier film, and a packing list matched to the spare kit. At around 70 kg it is a bench-scale unit, so it moves on a standard pallet truck and needs no crane, no flat rack and no break-bulk booking. We confirm the shipping method and loading plan with you before dispatch, and we check that the destination can receive a crated unit of this size - the failure mode to avoid is a machine that arrives at a distributor without a pallet truck to move it.

Question 2: How Does It Get Onto Your Floor?

The base frame is designed to be moved and positioned by pallet truck or forklift, with lifting eyes at the centre of gravity for sites that prefer to hoist - not slinging the machine under the arms, which is how frames get twisted and how a unit that left our factory level arrives on your floor out of square. Each shipment includes a handling diagram showing lift points, centre of gravity, and the maximum tilt angle permitted in transit. A first-time installation typically takes half a day, including levelling and a test batch of your cores.

Question 3: What Happens in the First Week?

✅ Spare Kit in the Same Shipment - Photoelectric sensors, feed rollers and fuses are packed with the machine, not ordered after the fact, so a first-week fault does not become a two-week customs delay.

✅ Remote Commissioning - Our engineers support installation and first production by phone and video, including recipe setup for each of your core sizes.

✅ Documented Fault Codes - The Mitsubishi PLC logs a code and the last cycle state on every stop, which turns a phone call into a five-minute diagnosis rather than a site visit.

✅ Part Numbers in the Manual - Wear items are listed with their numbers, so your maintenance team can order locally where an equivalent is acceptable, or from us where it is not.

Where Large Cores Are Used

Heavy power transformers for industrial drives, large welding power sources, three-phase converter systems built on single-phase EI cores, heavy-duty isolation transformers for plant distribution, and large control power supplies in the 2000-4000 VA band. CRGO and CRNGO grades are supported at 0.3 mm, 0.35 mm and 0.5 mm, with cardboard or plastic bobbins. At this core size, the ±0.02 mm positioning repeatability matters most: a large stack amplifies any placement error across the whole core, so the accuracy that is comfortable on a small core becomes essential here.

Planning Your Installation

Send us your core sizes, monthly volume and site constraints - floor space, access width and the position where the unit will sit relative to winding and varnishing. We will confirm the frame size, the handling plan and the shipping configuration. Delivery is 1-15 working days for standard configurations, with professional after-sales technical support and a 12-month warranty. We are a direct manufacturer with CE certified equipment, serving customers including GE Vernova and Eaton (USA) as well as CATL and Chint Electric, and exporting to more than 20 countries and regions.
